Intertek supports retailers, manufacturers, distributors and suppliers in the testing of textiles, apparel and footwear from fabric samples to children's pajamas to apparel.

Intertek is accredited to test according to an array of national and international standards, such as European Standards (EN), GB Standards issued by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), the Chinese National Committee of the ISO and IEC, American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), ASTM International (ASTM), the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), including to the new CPSIA, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and more.

Intertek provides up-to-date technical training seminars sharing the latest information on regulations, product standards, basic textile fundamentals, textile testing, labeling, and more with clients both on- and off-site. Intertek's consultation services offer assistance in the development and revision of quality assurance programs and product specifications, monitoring and improving manufacturing processes, and assisting with corrective actions measures.

As products are increasingly sourced from developing countries, Intertek services are provided near manufacturing sites and customers' buying offices, facilitating customers' quick response to ever changing textile and footwear regulations, as well as global industry standards.
