Spreading Joy Through Toys for Children in Need

Intertek Hong Kong has donated a selection of tested toys to Box of Hope, a charity dedicated to bringing joy and gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong and across Asia.

Founded in 2008 by two mothers, Nicole Woolhouse and Harriet Cleverly, Box of Hope began as a family project to teach children about poverty and the power of giving. In 2024, the charity collected over 34,693 boxes and has delivered more than 350,000 gift boxes to children in need since its inception.

The toys donated, ranging from board games to other tested items, were supported and delivered together with Intertek’s clients. Leading the initiative was Sandeep Das, CEO of Intertek Greater China and President of Global Softlines and Hardlines.

Sandeep commented:
“At Intertek, we are not only committed to ensuring the standards of product safety for children worldwide, but also to giving back to the communities where we operate. Through this donation of tested toys, we aim to bring smiles and happiness to children in need while reinforcing our role as a responsible corporate citizen.”
