Ministry of Public Health appoints Intertek to issue CoC for Regulated Food Products during the 2022 FIFA World Cup

Exporting Food Products to Qatar

The Ministry of Public Health - Food Safety and Environmental Health Division (MoPH – FSD) of the State of Qatar has appointed Intertek as a third-party Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and has been approved to Evaluate, Test, Inspect and Certify regulated food product consignments exported to the State of Qatar until 31st December 2022. 

 
Effective immediately, Intertek can now issue Certificates of Conformity (CoC) for food products imported into Qatar from various Countries of Supply during the FIFA World Cup.
 
Food Products issued with a CoC from an approved CAB would benefit from a fast-track clearance of goods and a substantially reduced destination inspection and intervention by Custom Authorities at the Qatar Ports/Borders.
