Intertek provides a comprehensive solution for REACH Regulation (EC1907/2006) compliance.
Intertek works directly with the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) and individual EU governments to provide a single-source solution for complying with the registration, testing, and documentation requirements of the complex REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemical Substances - EC1907/2006) of European Union. We enable you to achieve REACH regulatory compliance. We offer complete support of the registration process and the overall REACH project.
Compliance with REACH is mandatory for continued sales of chemicals and products in the European Union. Chemicals manufactured in or imported into the EU in excess of one tonne per annum must be registered.
"There is a general obligation for manufacturers and importers of substances to submit a registration to the Agency for each substance manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 tonne or above per year. Failure to register means that the substance is not allowed to be manufactured or imported."
